Palos Verdes Art Center Artists (PVACA) represents eight active artists groups affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center.  PVACA organizes the annual Malaga Cove Lawn Art Shows and Sales and hosts an annual membership exhibition, The Summer Show. Pacific Arts Group

Mostly plein air and other representa-tional painters. Meets most Wednesdays for field trips, paint outs, critiques, demos and workshops, and social activities. Limit 31 members, sponsored and juried in.

Peninsula Artists

Painters assist each other via workshops, field trips, and a "Show and Tell" by a different artist every month. Meets monthly, except in summer, at PVAC at 9:30 on the second Thursday morning. Limit 35 members selected by jury.

The Artists' Studio of Palos Verdes

Professional artists' coop including painters, photographers, ceramic artists, jewelers and textile/wearable artists.  Membership of ~40 by invitation and jury only; meets quarterly.         TAS Website






Paletteers

Contemporary/abstract as well as representational artists. Meets second Tuesday of every month at the Art Center, except in summer, for speakers and demonstrations. 56 members, by sponsorship and jury.

Photographic & Digital Artists

Artists who create with photographic film or digital imagery meet the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Art Center for critiques and programs, and actively seek exhibition opportunities. Limit 32 members, selected by jury. 

Artists Open Group (AOG)

Open to all artists regardless of medium or skill level. Meets at the Art Center in the evening on the fourth Monday every other month beginning January and holds critiques. Non-juried.

Palos Verdes Painters

Largely full-time painters and includes some 3-D artists and printmakers. Meets first Tuesday of each quarter at the Art Center, alternating between day and evening meetings. About 30 members, sponsored and juried in.

Third Dimension

Member artists focus on ceramics, sculpture, weaving, basketry, fabric arts, jewelry, and glass. Activities include guest speakers, workshops, critiques, and field trips. Up to 35 members, selected by jury.
